Celebrating Independence Day by Spreading Smiles
As announced earlier, we have planned to celebrate the 80th Independence Day of our nation with 37 children and 8 mentors from two NGOs.
While we may not be able to transform their lives, we hope to make this Independence Day a little more special by sharing with them the joy, warmth, and spirit of the occasion.
As part of this initiative, we will present each child with an Indian National Flag, a new set of clothes, and a food packet. The celebration will also include a special cultural performance by the children, which we are sure will make the occasion even more memorable.
We are delighted to share that several like-minded residents have generously come forward to support this noble initiative through their contributions. We are especially humbled by the generosity of the owner of INDIAN CLOTH STORES, Sonarpur, who, through the efforts of one of our respected residents, graciously offered to sponsor the new clothes for all the children.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the residents who have contributed, and to the owner of INDIAN CLOTH STORES for this thoughtful and generous gesture. Your support has truly strengthened our endeavour and exemplifies the spirit of compassion and community.
Encouraged by this overwhelming response, we hope to organize another such outreach programme during the upcoming Durga Puja. We warmly welcome the participation and support of more residents in this journey of spreading smiles.
Contributions of any amount are welcome and will be received with sincere gratitude. Residents may contribute either through online transfer or cash, as convenient.
Together, let us celebrate the spirit of freedom by sharing kindness, hope, and smiles.
