Adorned by nature’s splendor and sublime sages,
Inspired by its great sons across all ages,
Enriched by the Ganges, Gir and mystical Himalayas.
Spare a minute to admire the dauntless ones,
Recall the bloodshed of our martyred sons,
Mutely they sleep where mountains stand tall, Frozen in snow, where brutality killed all.
Spare a minute to share the grief their families weep
Pray for those souls where pain runs deep.
The snow-capped peaks now witness silence profound,
But the echoes of violence sadly resound.
Spare a minute where hearts divide and conflict breathes
It is humans who made confining countries.
Violence and lust are the causes of our miseries,
The line of control stretches sharp teeth of hostilities.
Spare a minute to greet the new dawn,
The nation is young and vibrant like a fawn.
Adjoining foes may convict us with their twisted lies,
With hope and courage springing high, we shall rise.
