Khuti Puja marks the auspicious beginning of Durga Puja pandal construction. This sacred ceremony involves the ritualistic planting of the first wooden post (khuti) that forms the foundation of the temporary shrine. Led by the Purohit with blessings from Core Group Members and community members, this ritual symbolizes the start of our most cherished festival season. The Khuti Puja ceremony is deeply rooted in Bengali tradition and represents the community's collective devotion and excitement for the festivities to come. Through this solemn yet joyous occasion, we honor the goddess and prepare our hearts and minds for the spiritual and cultural celebrations ahead.
